The GABA Network is Michigan’s premier business and leadership platform, intentionally built for African and Caribbean entrepreneurs, executives, and ecosystem partners. As a signature program of The GABA Foundation, the GABA Network connects members to global trade opportunities, real-time business resources, and curated support across industries.
Originally founded as the National African Business Association (NABA), the organization evolved into the Global African Business Association (GABA). This comprehensive business ecosystem serves African and Caribbean communities through trade, infrastructure, and opportunities. Today, GABA operates through three integrated components: the GABA Marketplace Center, which focuses on logistics and vendor development; the GABA Foundation, which leads workforce development and talent pipeline strategies; and the GABA Network, our flagship program designed to convene and connect African and Caribbean professionals, entrepreneurs, and partners.
Created to foster connectivity, innovation, and cross-border collaboration, the GABA Network equips members with access to a global community of African and Caribbean professionals, opportunities in trade and funding, increased visibility across sectors, and leadership in national economic equity conversations.
Whether you’re a founder, a funder, or a future leader, the GABA Network offers you:
GABA’s digital-first model supports members through its growing work in fintech, digital infrastructure, and STEAM-based business education—providing African entrepreneurs with the tools, training, and connectivity needed to thrive in a competitive global economy.
Membership is free, and the future is connected.
GABA is here to transform how African and Caribbean businesses access global markets.
